North Coast Honor Flight

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor our World War II and Korean war veterans for their sacrifices for our great nation. We transport our heroes at no cost to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.

Of all the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation. From December 1941 through March 1945, A total of 16 million Americans served during World War II with over 416,000 paying the ultimate sacrifice.

The Korean War once again called out for America to stand strong with over 5.7 million serving during the Korean War and over 40,000 killed or missing in action between the years 1950 through 1953.

Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out. The youngest veterans are over 80 years old, and we are losing 600-800 each day.

North Coast Honor Flight is raising money to take veterans from Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino and Trinity Counties to Washington DC for this unforgettable experience. We need community support to make this happen.
